Laminate Countertops Warranty

Excel Cabinets warrants its post formed laminate countertops to the original consumer purchaser to be free from all defects in workmanship and material under normal use for one year from the original date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser (“the Warranty Period”).  Any accessories, or other products sold with or as a part of any post formed laminate countertop that were not manufactured and sold by Excel Cabinets are expressly excluded from coverage by this limited warranty.

Excel Cabinets will repair or replace defective post formed laminate countertops free of charge during the Warranty Period so long as the original consumer purchaser contacts Excel Cabinets, in writing, within the Warranty Period.  The writing must include a description of the alleged defect and the date and place of purchase of the product.

This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, neglect, or defects caused by any other improperly installed or defective products not sold to the consumer by Excel Cabinets.  Additionally, this warranty does not cover wear or deterioration that results from the natural aging of the countertops.  This warranty does not cover countertop substrate swelling, de-lamination, or seam separation, due to water penetration caused when caulking next to walls, in the seams, and around sink cut outs or other fixtures is not properly maintained as part of ongoing maintenance by the consumer.  This warranty does not cover burns, discoloration, cracks or blistering caused when excessive heat is applied to the countertops.  This warranty does not cover damage caused by contact with harmful chemicals.  This warranty does not cover scratches or cut marks in the countertop. This warranty does not cover caulking where the countertop meets the wall as this is considered routine maintenance to be accomplished by the homeowner.

Excel Cabinets will not assume or authorize any person to assume for us, any liability in connection with the sale of any post formed laminate countertop or any other of Excel Cabinet’s products.

Excel Cabinets reserves the right to change design, specification, and materials as conditions require and as improvements are developed.  The manufacturer has no obligation to incorporate such changes into products previously manufactured.

Excel Cabinets makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
